ABOUT THE PROGRAM
This accessible and motivating presentation will discuss the latest research in Alzheimer’s disease, including updates from the most recent Alzheimer’s Association International Conference. Dr. Kutac will address the current understanding of Alzheimer’s risk, early disease detection and diagnosis. She will also share information about local clinical trials recruiting Houstonians.

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR ALL ATTENDEES PRIOR TO THE EVENT. Check in will begin 15 minutes prior to the program beginning. Due to video filming, late attendees will be asked to view the presentation in the Green Room.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Julie Kutac received her BS in Molecular Biology with a minor in Theology from Texas Lutheran University, her MA in Religious Studies from Rice University and her PhD in Medical Humanities from the University of Texas Medical Branch. As the Professional Education and Research Specialist at the Alzheimer’s Association-Houston & Southeast Texas Chapter, Dr. Kutac liaises with the scientists studying Alzheimer’s disease in the Texas Medical Center. She also prepares and delivers education programs to health care providers across the Houston area.
