ABOUT THE PROGRAM

For centuries, we’ve known that the health of the brain and the body are connected. But now, science is able to provide insights into how to make lifestyle choices that may help you keep your brain and body healthy as you age. Join us to learn about research in the areas of diet and nutrition, exercise, cognitive activity and social engagement, and use hands-on tools to help you incorporate these recommendations into a plan for healthy aging.

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR ALL ATTENDEES PRIOR TO THE EVENT. Check in will begin 15 minutes prior to the program beginning.  Due to video filming, late attendees will be asked to view the presentation in the Green Room.


ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Krista Bohn

Krista Bohn is the Galveston/Bay Area Outreach Coordinator and Interim Assistant Outreach Director for the Alzheimer’s Association Houston and Southeast Texas Chapter.  She has been with the Alzheimer’s Association since 2013 and coordinates the education, training, and fundraising in Galveston County and the surrounding areas.  She received her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences at Furman University and her Master in Public Health from Tulane University.  Her passion is improving quality of life for individuals through community education and programs.
