ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Science has come a long way on the path of providing more efficient mental health treatments. However, serious mental illness is still seen by professionals as a lifelong condition. What does “lifelong” mean? What can be expected when seeking help for a chronic psychiatric disorder? Join us as Dr. Barroso answers these questions and more.

Bring your lunch, we provide the drinks.

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR ALL ATTENDEES PRIOR TO THE EVENT.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Adriane Barroso, PhD

Adriane was born in Brazil and relocated to the US in 2016. Prior to arriving in the US, Adriane graduated from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (Brazil) with a degree in Journalism and another one in Psychology from Pontificia Universidade Catolica (Brazil). In 2013, she received her doctorate degree in Psychology from Pontificia Universidade Catolica.
