The Increasing Need for Peer Specialists in Mental Healthcare
May 8 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pmFree
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Many individuals suffer from mental health disorders and lack direct access to affordable, appropriate care. In today’s environment, peer specialists, as part of a mental healthcare team, play an increasingly important role in delivering services to those who would otherwise not be able to access care. As we consider new approaches to dealing with our country’s mental health crisis, this presentation will explore the many possibilities of expanding access to care for those who need it most.
REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR ALL ATTENDEES PRIOR TO THE EVENT. Check in will begin 15 minutes prior to the program beginning. Due to video filming, late attendees will be asked to view the presentation in the Green Room.
