ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Scammers want your information, so they can steal your money and your benefits.  Did you know a Medicare number is worth at least $30,000-$40,000 dollars…but not to you!  Medical identity theft is serious business.  Learn how to protect yourself from these criminals, as well as be able to recognize and report Medicare fraud.


REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR ALL ATTENDEES PRIOR TO THE EVENT

Check in will begin 15 minutes prior to the program beginning.

The best way to locate our building is to search 5025 Riverway Drive, Houston TX 77056 in your GPS and it should take you to the corner adjacent to our building.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Jennifer Salazar, Program Director of the Texas Senior Medicare Patrol

Jennifer Salazar is a native Southeast Texan who graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Lamar University.  Upon graduation, she was accepted into the Area Agency on Aging of Southeast Texas as the Lead Benefits Counselor and staff Nursing Home Ombudsman.  From 2012-2016, Jennifer worked for Conn’s Corporate Office in The Woodlands, Texas.  She started in Human Resources and worked her way up to Information Technology Coordinator. In 2016, she became the Senior Medicare Patrol Program Director for the Better Business Bureau of Greater Houston Education Foundation. Jennifer is happily married to her college sweetheart and has two daughters.  She is a strong advocate to those who do not have a voice, especially the greatest generation of Americans!
